of just how hard,
our lives
are as AFricans,
worse…Nigerians.

The thought of our helplessness,
in the midst of it all,
then begins to frighten you.

And yet, you wonder,
how a people so blessed,
became so afflicted,
and the tears,
usually internal, streams down,
Your brain screaming out loud,
mental confusion….

And you sleep,
to relive through the windows,
again at dawn.
